The Grand Traverse Area Children's Garden was founded in 1999, our programming reaches the minds and hearts of hundreds of children every year with a focus of roots to mouth.

Our programming offers opportunities for children to learn sustainability, leadership, and life skills, while becoming good stewards for the environment and our local community at-large.

Our highest intention is to have fun while in the garden, spread the joys of working with the earth while "planting the seed" that plants affect every moment of our lives; to breathe, to eat, to heal, and to enjoy.
